Zero Waste NYC
Connecting New Yorkers through education, community, and equitable resources to make low-waste living accessible and climate action achievable.
-
Zero Waste NYC began as a single community event in 2019 and has grown into a citywide platform for sustainability education and connection. We exist to help New Yorkers reduce waste and take meaningful climate action.
-
We believe sustainability should be practical, inclusive, and rooted in real life. Our work focuses on high-impact actions, progress over perfection, and community-driven change.
-
We partner with local businesses, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to create accessible, high-impact programs and events across NYC.
